At Kansyam Metalex, we take great pride in our handcrafted Kansa, Bronze, and Brass products, each made by skilled artisans who carry forward generations of traditional craftsmanship. Every product is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as it governs how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Our General Policy - No Returns Accepted
As a general rule, Kansyam Metalex does not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or if the product meets the specifications described on our website (size, material, quality, finish).
This is because each product is handcrafted and in many cases customised, making it difficult to resell once shipped. We request all customers to carefully review the product description, dimensions, images, and material details before placing an order. Handmade Nature of Products
Our products are made from traditional materials - 78% Copper and 22% Tin (for Kansa/Bronze) and pure Brass - by artisans using age-old techniques. Due to the handmade nature of these products, you may notice:
- Slight variations in shape, size, or finish
- Minor surface markings, black or green spots, or patina
- Slight difference in tone or colour compared to product images
- Sharp edges that soften after first use and cleaning
These are NOT defects. They are hallmarks of authentic, handcrafted products. Bronze and Brass may develop a natural patina over time - this can be cleaned using lime and salt, tamarind, vinegar, or a metal polish. We assure you this does not affect the quality or usability of the product.
When Exchange is Applicable - Damaged Products Only
We will arrange an exchange only in the following case:
Note: If the product arrives damaged due to transit, we will exchange it with a fresh product of the same kind, subject to availability.
To be eligible for an exchange in case of a damaged delivery, you must:
- Report the damage within 48 hours (2 days) of receiving the order
- Send a clear photograph or video of the damaged product along with the original packaging

Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours and inform you about the next steps. The decision to approve an exchange is at the sole discretion of the Kansyam Metalex quality team based on the evidence provided.
What We Will NOT Exchange
- Products that are not damaged but you have changed your mind about
- Products where size, colour, or finish difference from expectation is not a manufacturing defect
- Products marked as Non-Exchangeable on the product page
- Products that have been used, washed, or handled post delivery
- Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery
Exchange Process

Step 3: If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (where serviceable)
Step 4: Upon receiving and verifying the returned item, we will dispatch the replacement product
Step 5: Exchange will be processed within 10-12 working days from claim approval

Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order any time before it has been shipped from our warehouse. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible. Please note that some orders are shipped within hours of placement, so cancellation may not always be feasible.
Convenience fees or payment processing charges are non-refundable at the time of cancellation.
International Orders
For international shipments, we take extra care with packaging to ensure safe delivery. However, we currently do not offer reverse pickup for international orders. If your product arrives damaged, please share photos with us at info@kansyammetalex.com within 48 hours of receipt, and we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.
