How We Ship Internationally


We ship all international orders via reputable courier partners such as DHL, FedEx, and similar express services. Shipping costs are calculated based on the actual weight or volumetric (dimensional) weight of the package, whichever is higher. This is standard practice across all international couriers.


Understanding Product Weight vs Shipping Weight

Each product page on our website displays the product weight. However, when shipping, the courier charges are based on the shipping weight, which includes:

  • The actual weight of the product
  • The weight of protective packaging materials (bubble wrap, cardboard, foam, etc.)
  • The volumetric (dimensional) weight of the box
Metal products - while dense - often require robust, thick packaging to prevent damage during international transit, which can increase the volumetric weight and therefore the shipping cost. We are continuously working to optimise our packaging to minimise unnecessary bulk while keeping your products safe.


Tips to Reduce Your International Shipping Cost


1. Combine Multiple Products in One Order

Shipping individual items internationally is expensive. The cost per item decreases significantly when you order multiple products together in a single cart, as we can pack them more efficiently into fewer boxes.

2. Minimise Fragile or Bulky Single Items

Some individually large items may require oversized packaging which increases dimensional weight. If possible, pair them with other smaller items in the same order.

3. Mix Product Sizes in Your Cart

A good mix of small, medium, and large items - including some higher-value pieces - allows us to pack more efficiently and optimise the shipping cost per unit.

4. Add Lightweight Accessories

Consider adding lighter items to your order such as Kansa Massager Tools, small decorative pieces, or ladles. These often have minimal impact on shipping weight and make excellent additions.

5. Review Cart Before Checkout

Always check the estimated shipping charges shown at checkout before completing your order. Adjust your cart quantities if needed to land in a better shipping weight slab.


Shipping Weight Slabs


Our international shipping rates are calculated based on standard weight slabs (approximately 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg per box). If your order total falls just below the next slab threshold, adding another lightweight item can sometimes be more economical than ordering separately later.


Customs, Duties & Taxes


International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees and are entirely the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.


Delivery Timelines for International Orders


International shipments typically take 7-14 business days depending on the destination country, customs clearance, and the courier's schedule. Exact delivery timelines will be shared with your tracking information once your order is shipped.


Damaged Products on International Delivery


If you receive a damaged product in an international shipment, please photograph the damaged item and packaging immediately and email us at info@kansyammetalex.com within 48 hours of receipt. We will review each case individually and work out the best possible resolution.

Please note: We do not currently offer reverse pickup for international orders. Any return shipping for international orders would be at the customer's cost unless otherwise agreed upon.
